The owner of a small cable channel which broadcasts exploitive erotica comes across a pirate transmission of "Videodrome", originating from Pittsburgh, which he simply must have for his channel. But Videodrome is actual snuff, beyond that even; not truly broadcast but a reprogramming of the brain to warp perception of reality into heights of depravity. Extremely original and absolutely astonishing for 1983, one of the few films which has become more relevant over time.
