REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 4-Jun-2005) The Great White Hope was a
movie that I will never forget. For thirty-five years, occasionally, I
will think about it and what a powerful film it was. I believe it was
one of the first films brave enough to have a white woman and a black
man as a couple and I admired that. The image of James Earl Jones
dancing in the movie is the scene that comes to my mind most of all. He
was able to emote his feelings and was a fabulous actor even back then.
Interesting story, well directed, well acted, and ahead of its time.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my feelings about this film.
