Drango (2-Aug-1957)
Director: Hall Bartlett Writers: Hall Bartlett; Jules Bricken Music: Elmer Bernstein Producers: Hall Bartlett; Jules Bricken Keywords: Western, Civil War U.S. Army Major Clint Drango is assigned military governorship of a small Georgia town, destroyed during Sherman's March to the Sea. The townsfolk are hostile, though unaware Drango himself played a part in the town's destruction. Adequate western that could have been much better. It is odd that no blacks make their appearance in the film.
