ABSTRACT
Lizzie McGuire graduates from middle school, taking pals Ethan, Gordo, and Kate along with her on a celebratory trip to Rome. A planned spell of typical sightseeing and recreation takes an unexpected turn when Lizzie learns of her shocking resemblance to Italian singing sensation Isabella; when Isabella's duet partner Paolo grows tires of their time together, he asks Lizzie to take her place, launching the young girl on a whirlwind journey as she enjoys an unlikely shot to stardom while courting romance with her hunky new duet partner.
