Widower advertising executive Brad Stubbs (two daughters) meets widow Jean Bowen (two sons) and they hit it off and decide to marry. They head to the twin summer camps in Maine where their children are staying. But Brad was already seeing a TV personality and a camp counselor takes a fancy to Jean, so the wedding is temporarily off.
