REVIEWS Review by Katy Lizabeth (posted on 31-Jul-2007) This movie "Corina, Corina" is the whole package, The pizza with three extra toppings,as it proved satisfying to everyone. Ray & Whoopie did a honest and believable job conveying the characters in perfect rhythm,in this human life/human struggle/ADL( activities of daily living)montage. In fact every character ( every actor) in the entire movie made you want to see more of them,to dig deeper into their sillness or chronic mayhem. Linked with clever comedy & heartfelt emotions, it takes you on a great ride to a wanton ending of slappy happy!
Want a movie you can watch with your kids and teach them some sound values while being entertained? This is the one.
The mixing of racial issues and social discord during that time frame was brilliantly illustrated.
AFTER A MANS WIFE DIES SUDDENLY, HIS YOUNG DAUGHTER AND HIM EMBARK ON AN JOURNEY TO FIND A NANNY/MAID TO HELP FILL THE VOID AT HOME. AFTER A COMEDY OF ERRORS, TO THY OWN SELF BE TRUE, STEPS UP AND SEALS THE DEAL.
**This movie is one of my top Twenty,20! I own it and serve it to all those that I hold dear, and with pop corn of course.

Review by A.J. (posted on 7-Jan-2008) Absolutely wonderful. The process of discovering the essence of a person and growing to appreciate them is rarely explored in films. This was a wonderful journey of three people obviously meant to nurture each other's soul from hurting to healed and happy. And having it set in that time period couldn't be more special because people have been living and loving since the beginning of time. It is a reminder that real love transcends all borders. It is well-written, humorous, insightful and most of all entertaining. It is a good piece of art, one of my favorites, and well worth adding to my collection.
