REVIEWS Review by Dave Meloche (posted on 26-Mar-2005) I have seen this movie many times and it was typical of the Anti-Government/Military movies of the time.
The main character, Scott, was a rancher. He and his son camped out over night on their property, and during the night a military (Army) plane flew over and accidently dumped a nerve agent in the area.
As a result, his son died from the agent, and the death was withheld from his father. When he found out his son had died and he was lied to by everyone in the hospital, he went on a revenge "mission" against the company who made the nerve gas.
He was infected also and eventually died from the gas.
In the meantime, he dynamited and ruined the company that had manufactured the gas for the Army.
It exemplifies the attitude that the Government covers up any mistake it makes by eliminating the victims.
There are many movies like this one.
Most of them are plausible, but unprovable. The proving grounds at Dugway, Utah, is another object of many "cover up" movies.
It's a good movie with an inevitable unhappy ending for an innocent victim and his son.
Do you know something we don't?
