ABSTRACT
Pierre Dulaine, a Palestinian-born part-French dance instructor noted for his efforts to bring about positive social change through ballroom dancing, brought his "Dulaine method" of dance instruction to his hometown of Jaffa after years spent teaching underprivileged children in blighted corners of Europe and the United States. Dancing in Jaffa chronicles the idealistic instructor's return back home on the big screen, framing his trip as a unique attempt to bring peace to arguably the nastiest ethnic conflict in our world.
