REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 1-Nov-2006) This was the best of series on television ever, except for "Roots". Of course, I am a Michener fan, and have owned all his books. All the actors were great, but this being the first time for me to see Timothy Dalton, he stood out in my memory for the part he played. Vanessa Redgrave was a perfect match for him in this series, and Alex Karras was a 'natural'. Richard Chamberlain also fell into the 'natural' category.I wish this series would be aired again, after all these years, for to me it is a super Classic.
