Sequel to Clash of the Titans returns to the film franchise's storyline a decade following the preceding movie, telling the tale of Perseus being called upon to save mankind once more.

ABSTRACT
Set ten years after Clash of the Titans (2010), Wrath of the Titans follows Perseus as he is asked by Zeus to save humankind from the potential wrath of the imprisoned Titan Kronos, as Tartarus's walls are crumbling and may ultimately set Kronos free if action is not taken. Though he initially declines the request, Tartarus's walls do indeed end up crumbling, forcing Perseus into a position where he must reverse dire circumstances brought about by the unleashing of monsters upon Earth.
