REVIEWS Review by Lenna Doll (posted on 15-May-2009) I've seen this film twice. Once, upon it's release in the early 70's and again, nearly 40 years later. That many years can change one's perspective on politics, life and of course, war.
This film stands right up there with the novel as a declaration against war, and should be seen by anyone who thinks that wars are justified for any reason. Seeing it makes me wonder, how many soldiers throughout history have surived in a similar state that "Joe" was in.
