ABSTRACT
Barry Egan, an entrepreneur and proprietor of his own novelty wholesale supplier, struggles through life hounded by his large immediate family, temper, and impatient business associates. Though serendipity appears to strike one day in the form of Lena Leonard, a woman interested in pursuing a romance with him, Barry must nonetheless learn to manage his off-kilter existence if he is to stand a chance of enjoying love and a certain measure of stability in his life.
