A woman caring for an elderly man in a New Orleans mansion becomes caught up in a frightening mystery concerning the building's past.

ABSTRACT
Hospice caregiver Caroline Ellis is hired away from her place of employment by aging Southern matriarch Violet Devereaux to take care of ailing husband Ben in his dying days at a decrepit mansion on the outskirts of New Orleans. A naturally-curious Caroline discovers chilling signs pointing to the Devereaux family's involvement in a clandestine hoodoo cult, soon drawn into a frightening mystery involving ghosts from the mansion's dark and disturbing past.
