ABSTRACT Robert Ford is a nineteen-year old wannabe outlaw obsessed with personal idol Jesse James, so much so that he tracks the infamous train robber down in the course of a planned Missouri heist and attempts to join up with his collective alongside brother and James gang member Charley. Time spent with fellow James gangster Dick Liddil leaves a mark on the impressionable Ford, ultimately seeing him joining up with a plot to assassinate James to collect a government-backed bounty on his head.
