REVIEWS Review by banion48 (posted on 4-Apr-2005) If you like classic medieval movies you'll adore this gritty early eighties film. A small band of men from a far away village embark on an arduous quest to petition the last sorcerer in the land to free them from the tyranny of a land dragon. In an interesting turn of events the grand sorcerer dies and his young apprentice finds himself the unwitting, but very willing, recipient of all his master's latent power. Taking the quest in his master's stead the cocky young Galen (MacNicol) uncovers a controversy and learns the true purpose of magic.
