The Band
MUSIC
Rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Formed 1959 as The Hawks. Toured with Bob Dylan in 1966, taking the name The Band in 1968. Broke up in 1977, but reformed in 1983 sans guitarist Robbie Robertson.
