She was taught her craft by a stage hypnotist, Trione Boyer. Collins appeared frequently on talk shows in the 1960s and 1970s, hypnotizing celebrities, and released two novelty albums in the 1960s, now quite collectible. In the 1970s she owned a nightclub on the Sunset Strip, but sold that around 1980 and relocated to Reno for a time, performing occasional shows in Las Vegas. Collins has a memorable film appearance in Divorce, American Style, hypnotizing Debbie Reynolds into revealing her true love.
