Calls himself the "Lion of the Left", hosting a nightly show on KGO-AM in San Francisco. A former priest now critical of the Catholic Church, in addition to his normal time slot Ward hosts an informative Sunday-morning God Talk and permits listeners to join the "Church of the Holy Donut". This makes complete sense to his audience because topologically, donuts and the Deity are quite similar. He was suspended from KGO on 6 December 2007 after surrendering to federal authorities on a child pornography indictment, and is now imprisoned.
[1] Surmised from chat logs printed in Ward's police report, Oakdale Police Department, 23 December 2004. Ward describes an experience he had at the Palm Theater in San Mateo, engaging in sex play with other males at the back of the theater. Though he is slave to a female mistress, and large portions of the chat are obvious role playing (fictitious events mixed with real ones), a recurring theme of homosexuality persists.
