Godin was brought into the line-up of Orange for the remainder of its existence, and after the dissolution of the band the two continued on together as Air. Under this moniker, the duo has developed a style of electronic music that heavily references the pop music of the 60's and 70's and utilizes the analog keyboard sounds of that era.
The band's initial output was primarily remixes of other artists such as Depeche Mode; in 1998 their debut release Moon Safari was released to reasonable success. Extensive touring of Europe and the States has helped to further establish their popularity. Air
