Later indicted over alleged conspiracy to firebomb the Republican convention, though charges were dropped in 1974. Founded High Times with $12K, to instant success. Forcade committed suicide in 1978 with a pearl-handled .22 revolver, after which control of High Times was transferred to a trust.
