While Peter King descries support of Islamic terrorism and even considers that failing to condemn Islamic terror is tantamount to support and worthy of Congressional investigation, he himself has a long association with a notorious terrorist organization, the Irish Republican Army. On several occasions King spoke at rallies sponsored by Noraid, an organization registered in the United States as an agent for the IRA and which provided financial support to the terrorist organization. In return, Noraid provided support to King's early candidacies. Said King on television in 1995, "The moral standing of the IRA is equal to that of the British Army." A Belfast judge expelled King from his courtroom because King was "an obvious collaborator with the IRA."[1]
