Their hits included "Diamond Girl", "Hummingbird", "Summer Breeze", and "We May Never Pass This Way (Again)". Seals won a state fiddle championship when he was 9 years old, and after high school he toured with The Champs (known for their 1958 hit "Tequila"). Before his success with Seals and Crofts, Seals played rhythm guitar for Buck Owens, and saxophone for The Monkees' second album. At present he lives in Tennessee and owns a coffee farm in Costa Rica. His brother, Dan Seals, was also a successful pop singer of the 1970s, and a country star of the 1980s and '90s.
