Serial rapist and murderer, introduced on The Dating Game for his 1978 appearance as: "A successful photographer who got his start when his father found him in the darkroom at the age of 13, fully developed. Between takes you might find him skydiving or motorcycling." His appearance was in the midst of his murder spree. It is likely Alcala has killed others, though estimates vary as to how many victims -- it may be as high as dozens. He is on Death Row in California and faces charges in New York State.

[1] The Huntington Beach Police Department seized the contents of a Seattle storage locker rented by Alcala, among which were numerous photographs he had taken of women and some teenage boys in the late 1970s. In 2010, the department took an unusual step by requesting assistance from the public in identifying the individuals depicted.
