Hurd denied trying to seduce her; regardless, he was forced to resign as CEO of HP over "inaccurate expense reports submitted by Mark or on his behalf that intended to or had the effect of concealing Mark's personal relationship with the contractor".[1] He was given a severance package of $28M in a mixture of cash and stock, and a month later was hired as co-President of Oracle.
