[1] Obituary, The Independent, 5 March 2003, citing a source that neither they nor we can confirm: "After playing a lady's man for many years, Buchholz reportedly admitted to the weekly Bunte magazine in 2000 that he had bisexual tendencies." In his autobiography, Oswalt Kolle, Ich bin so frei: mein Leben (2008), claims to have had a relationship with Buchholz.
