Jonny first recorded as faux-country singer Johnny Moonshine. In an attempt to find even more irritating forms of music he transformed himself into Eurodance artist Dr. Bombay the fake Indian taxi driver charting with such singles as "Rice and Curry" and "SOS (The Tiger Took My Family)". The Indian government found this caricature so offensive they considered legal measures later dropping the matter when lawyers advised them that you can't sue someone for being annoying. Since then Jakobsen has found additional success recording as the faux-Scottish Dr. MacDoo and the faux-Mexican Carlito. Currently he is seeking to affix faux to another ethnicity.
