The Log Cabin Republicans website says that he is "one of the leading conservative voices defending gays and lesbians in the Republican Party." LCR's Liberty Education Forum says "Sammon is a leading conservative voice defending gay and lesbian Americans." While in theory Sammon may be heterosexual, we are going to take the leap of faith here.
